This 16 minute track is meant to help the listener memorize the sound of the note C.
Five different octaves are used (C2 through C6) in order to make sure that the listener is able to recognize the sound of a C regardless of whether it is a low C or a high C (or middle C!)
A 5 hz binaural beat (Theta waves) is used to help the listener get into a meditative/hypnotic state which is meant to help allow the sound of the note C get deep into the subconscious of the listener.
In order for the binaural beat effect to work the track must be listened to on headphones.
Rhythmic white noise is also used to increase the hypnotic effect of the track.
Trying to sing the note while listening to the track may increase its effectiveness for ear training purposes and could also improve your ability to sing in tune. It is recommended to use a Snark tuner set on mic mode for this (so you can visually see whether you are singing sharp or flat or right on the money.)
Best results should come from listening (and singing) on a daily basis.
