about

These 16 minute tracks are meant to help the listener memorize the sound of these notes so that they can be recognized (and sung) in any situation.

Five different octaves are used on each of these recordings so that the listener is aware of how the essential sound of the note is the same regardless of how high or low it's played.

A 5 hz binaural beat (Theta waves) is used to help the listener get into a meditative/hypnotic state. This effect can only be properly heard while wearing headphones.

The rhythmic nature of the white noise and the delays on the voice and piano are also meant to increase the hypnotic nature of the track. The goal to allow the sound of these notes to enter into the listener's subconscious more easily so that they are kept in the long term memory.

Singing the note while listening to the track may increase its effectiveness for ear training purposes and should also improve your ability to match pitches (ie: sing in key.) Use a tuner set on mic mode for this (so you can get the visual feedback on whether you are singing sharp or flat.) There are free tuner apps you can get on your smart phone for this purpose.

WARNING: Never listen to this while doing anything that requires your attention (ie: driving / operating heavy machinery.)

___VERSION 2___

This version is similar to the first (also uses a 5 hz binaural beat which requires headphones) but includes all 12 notes in the western music chromatic scale rather than just the "white notes" that the first version includes.

WARNING: Never listen to this while doing anything that requires your attention (ie: driving / operating heavy machinery.)
