Each track is has one major scale played up and down one octave incrementally increasing from a tempo of 60 bpm up to 180 bpm (in 5 bpm increments.) There are 8 measures (4 times up and down the scale) at each tempo.

There are a few different possible uses for these practice tracks.

You could play your instrument along with it - focusing on accuracy and speed (when learning to play fast it is best to start slow and then speed up.)

You could sing along with it using numbers (1, 2, 3..), sounds (buh, buh, buh or la, la, la or na, na, na, or ..etc), or solfege (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do). This should help your pitch matching skill (pitch accuracy) as a singer and should also be good ear training practice.

And you could just listen to it and try to internalize the sounds this, although I really think if you're using this for ear training you'd be best of singing along with it (even if you're not a "singer.") because that helps you get the sound internalized. On the other-hand "audiation" (imagining the sound in your mind) might be very effective too. Whatever works for you.
